Site manager wins leading industry award for work at Jones Homes’ Alderley Gardens

The quality of construction at Jones Homes’ Alderley Gardens in Nether Alderley has won the development’s site manager a prestigious industry award.

Alistair Baxendale is one of 444 site managers across the country named as the recipient of a National House Building Council’s Quality Award in its annual Pride in the Job competition.

The award is in recognition of the excellence of the work carried out at Alderley Gardens, which is situated in the grounds of Alderley Park – a 400-acre parkland site that was once home to a 16^th century country house.

The Pride in the Job Awards were established over 40 years ago to recognise the work of exceptional site managers in the UK, to drive excellence and maintain standards in the industry. The judging process involves spot checks on the daily running of the site and site managers are assessed in categories such as leadership, attention to detail, health and safety and technical expertise.
