The Birch - Starter Home

A ‘Starter Homes Qualifying Person’ is defined as follows: a person who, as at the date of the relevant purchase of a Starter Home Unit, will be a ‘First Time Buyer’ who: 1. will occupy the Starter Home Unit as their sole or main residence; 2. has a gross household income of less than £80,000 per year (as adjusted to take account of inflation rates from the 3rd December 2018); and 3. satisfies one of the following criteria: (a) is at least aged 23 but who has not yet reached the age of 40; or (b) is over 40 and is acquiring an interest in the Starter Home Unit jointly with a First Time Buyer who is at least aged 23 but who has not yet reached the age of 40; or (c) is a current or former member of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces who was injured in service or was the partner of a member of the Armed Forces who died in service.
