Launch event planned for new 29-home development in Lake District village

Launch event planned for new 29-home development in Lake District village

Jones Homes is continuing construction work at Helmdale, a collection of 29 properties being built on land off Sedgwick Road.

A new development of three, four and five-bedroom homes in the Lake District village of Natland is to be officially launched on Saturday 5 August.

Visitors to the launch, which takes place at Jones Homes’ Stonecross Meadows development in nearby Kendal, will have the chance to reserve one of the first selection of houses to be released onto the market. They will also be able to discuss ‘early bird’ reservation options for forthcoming releases.

Carol Barlow, Sales Director for Jones Homes Lancashire, said: “There’s been a huge amount of interest in this small and exclusive development in Natland so we’re extremely excited to be officially launching the first homes to the public in August.

“Helmdale is in a superb location, right on the edge of the stunning Lake District and conveniently placed within a 15-minute drive of Kendal. It therefore represents a fantastic opportunity for house-hunters looking to secure a property close to one of the country’s most scenic national parks.

“While we are planning to welcome visitors to Helmdale this autumn, such has been the level of interest that we wanted to give buyers an early opportunity to reserve one of the first plots off plan. Our launch event on 5 August follows our extremely successful VIP launch on 22 July and we are expecting the turnout to be just as high.”

Jones Homes is building 10 affordable homes and 19 properties for private sale at the scheme. The first three plots will be available to reserve at the event, but further plots will be available for ‘early bird’ reservation at a guide price before a full sales release.

The public launch for Helmdale will take place at Stonecross Meadows, off Milnthorpe Road in Kendal, on Saturday 5 August from 12 noon to 7pm. No appointment is needed.
House-hunters will be able to visit Helmdale in person from this autumn, when a five-bedroom show home will be opened to the public.
