Show home inside Alderley Park’s former Walled Garden wins interior design award

A luxury show home built within the historic former Walled Garden at Alderley Park has won a prestigious interior design award.

The four-bedroom Elvaston at Jones Homes' Alderley Gardens development in Nether Alderley was named a winner in the Residential Interior (Show Home) category for Cheshire at the 2026-27 United Kingdom Property Awards.

The awards, which were held at The Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Friday 23 October, recognise excellence and high standards in the property industry.

Designed by Bec Spencer Designs, the Elvaston show home at Alderley Gardens features an aspirational, contemporary scheme which reflects the home's historic location and the idyllic rural setting of the development.

The careful use of gold and bronze elements, curved shapes and natural wood have created a sophisticated yet comfortable interior, while botanical patterns act as a reminder of the garden's former culinary purpose.

Carol Barlow, Sales and Marketing Director for Jones Homes North West, said: "Receiving this prestigious award is wonderful recognition for the fantastic work of our interior designers and construction team in creating this stylish and inspirational home for modern families. The Elvaston features a spacious layout, luxurious specification and excellent standard of construction, complemented by a sophisticated interior design scheme.

"With an exterior design influenced by traditional garden structures such as orangeries, glasshouses and gardeners' cottages, we were keen for the interior to also reflect the site's distinctive heritage.

"It was also important that the design appealed to a range of affluent buyers, including those working in Cheshire's sporting, media, aviation and business sectors. Bec Spencer Designs have done an excellent job in balancing those demands to create a home which is stylish and luxurious yet exudes a sense of rural charm."

The Elvaston show home is one of 17 properties being built within the former Walled Garden at Alderley Gardens, which forms the second phase of the development. A further 33 homes have already been completed on the site of the former kitchen garden in phase one.

Situated on land off Eagles Road, the development is located within the 400-acre Alderley Park, which features a state-of-the-art gymnasium, sports and leisure facilities, gastro pub and coffee shops.

A selection of four-bedroom homes are currently available to reserve at Alderley Gardens, with prices starting from £999,995. More information can be found at https://www.jones-homes.co.uk/new-homes/alderley-gardens/.
