Two Jones Homes developments named as finalists in North West Homebuilder Awards

Jones Homes has been shortlisted in the North West Homebuilder Awards in both the Large Development and Small Development categories. Alderley Gardens, a heritage development in the grounds of Alderley Park, will compete for the Large Development award at the ceremony, which will take place on Thursday 18 June at Albert Hall in Manchester. Bollin View, a development of eight homes off Stanneylands in Wilmslow, is a finalist in the Small Development category. Jones Homes has finished building the first phase of homes within an award-winning luxury development in the stunning setting of Alderley Park. Jones Homes opens doors to new show home at Alderley Gardens

Jones Homes has unveiled a new three-storey show home at a luxurious new development in Nether Alderley, where over half of the properties have been built on phase one. The housebuilder opened the doors to a three-bedroom Woodsford townhouse at Alderley Gardens, which is located in the grounds of Alderley Park. Visitors were given free champagne and canapes at a weekend-long launch event held at the site on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 February. An Independent Financial Advisor attended to give prospective purchasers independent mortgage advice while Jones Homes’ sales advisors were on hand to explain the benefits of its Agency Assist scheme. So far, the housebuilder has completed 18 of the 50 properties it is delivering at the development off Congleton Road. New residents have moved into nine of the homes on the site while another seven properties have been reserved. It signals Jones Homes' return to Preston, following on from recent developments at Ribbleswood Chase in Cottam, Walton Meadows in Walton le Dale, and Greenhill Gate in Penwortham. Jones Homes secures land for 235-home development in Middlewich

Jones Homes has acquired a 37-acre site in Warmingham Lane, Middlewich, where it has begun building 235 new homes and will create green open spaces. The Cheshire-based housebuilder will also contribute more than £1.2 million towards the planned Middlewich Eastern Relief Road. The development, to be known as Warmingham Park, will include one to five-bedroom houses, bungalows and apartments. Around half of the site will become landscaped open space, featuring a children’s play area, new wildlife habitats and a community orchard. Two construction managers at Jones Homes sites in the North West have both won a prestigious industry award for the exceptional quality of their work. Barrie Hassell and Mick Simpson have both been named as winners in the Construction Specialist of the Year category in the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Building Excellence Awards 2025 for the North West region. Barrie is Senior Site Manager at Bowland Rise in the picturesque Lancashire village of Dolphinholme, near Lancaster, on the edge of the Forest of Bowland, where Jones Homes is building 27 properties off Abbeystead Road. The local authority for the project is Lancaster City Council. Mick is Senior Site Manager at Alderley Gardens in Nether Alderley, where the housebuilder is delivering 50 luxury homes in the stunning setting of Alderley Park – a 400-acre former country estate which is situated within the Cheshire East local authority area. As winners of the regional award, both Barrie and Mick are shortlisted as finalists in their category for the LABC Grand Finals at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, London, on 23 January, where the national winners will be announced.
